CTK requires exclusivity in GA, SC, NC, TN and AL. We do not represent multi-listed talent.

CTK is a Talent Agency. We do not sell classes, photography sessions or conventions.

After you have been invited to the audition, you will receive everything you need to determine if CTK is the right agency for you. You will receive the contract and an information letter with all the information we can provide up front. We expect you to do your homework and encourage you to ask the major players in our casting field-- Stilwell, KellyCasting, Fincannons, Chez Group, C&J, etc.

If you are offered representation, you will have 24 hours to return your contract.

THERE WILL BE A NEW PARENT ORIENTATION on Sunday, August 1st. for all CTK clients who have been with the agency one year or less. (Talent picked up on Saturday are encouraged to make every effort to attend!)

Agency Representation

On Saturday, July 31st, CTK will hold an invitational call for new clients in the Perimeter East area of Atlanta. There will only be a limited number of audition spots, so please follow the directions and submit accordingly.

Make sure to attach your photos (no more than 2, no larger than 100k!!!) and your resume if you have one.

Prospects will be seen by age group, APPROXIMATELY:

10:00 a.m. 5-8 years old

Noon: 9-14 years old

2:00: 15-23 years old

4:00: 23 years old and up

More details will be emailed to those chosen to be seen, but expect to prepare either a monologue or a seen that will be sent later.

SUBMISSIONS:

Thank you for your interest in Coastal Talent Kids and Teens. To be considerated for representation, please EMAIL two SMALL snapshots (they should be no larger than 100k and 5x7") and a resume to CoastalTalentKidsSubmission@gmail.com.

Whether or not you have a resume, please make sure that you submit your photos with your full name, age, height, weight and approximate location (like Atlanta area or Charlotte or Nashville). If you are a minor, you should have your parent contact me. Please do not send camera phone pics.

Images that are too large will not be opened.

To speed up the process, it is strongly suggested that you have video online and send us the LINK. (Do not send the video as an attachment.) If we are interested, that is the first thing that we will ask you to do! It does not have to be professional, but a monologue or scene is good for older talent. Younger talent can simply talk about themselves, what they like, etc. We need to be able to see/hear you.

If we are interested, we will contact you. If you do not hear back, you are welcome to re-submit with new photos in 3 months. Again, if we do not contact you, it means that we are not interested at this time. We do not "stack" our talent and if we already have kids who are similar, we cannot offer you representation.

You are welcome to submit your photos, but unless you fit into one of our needs, we will probably not be contacting you. If you want to increase your chances of being considered by our agency, send us a link to a video showing your child doing a monologue and just introducing himself/herself. You can easily do this with your video camera and upload it to Google and then send us the link once it uploads. For safety reasons, you can choose to make it "unsearchable" and it will not be available for the public. You can also just have your child say their first name only--no last name, no city, etc.

A few notes about CTK Atlanta:
1) Our agency is computer-intensive. We require you to have daily access to the internet and the ability to send and receive emails, video, photos, etc. AS WELL AS TEXT MESSAGES.
2) We offer only exclusive representation in the southeast across the board, so please do not contact us if you already have representation elsewhere (LA and NYC are fine).
3) We require everyone over the age of 5 to have professional headshots, professionally printed by Pixel Pusher, ISGO, Argentum, etc. You do NOT have to have professional headshots to seek representation.
4) We require you to have an 800 Casting account (~$20/year out of your pocket) and an Actors Access account (free to you).
If you have these already, please let us know...but do NOT set one up if you do not have them.
5) You MUST have a working phone number where you can be reached, day or night.

The number one thing that you can do to increase your chances of representation with ANY agency is to get training. Please see the list of links for suggested classes and workshops....

WHAT DO WE LOOK FOR?
(There's no magic formula, but...)

Personality... Good reader... Well behaved without being overly subdued... A spark of mischief moderated by intelligence... Able to take direction... Parents who are supportive without being obtrusive... Able to hear constructive criticism and to make changes accordingly... Able to work with "strangers"... Flexibility and availability...

HOW TO INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF BEING CHOSEN FOR REPRESENTATION:

The best thing to do to increase your odds of being chosen is to take acting classes from a reputable school. (See links page.) You should also consider/continue pursuing theatrical, student film and indy film opportunities to add to your resume. Work on finding a monologue that shows your personality. READ! Reading helps actors become better at cold reading--a MUST in the business. Professional photos are NOT a requirement for consideration, so do not spend your money on expensive photos. Most agencies have a certain style/look that they require, so save your money until you find an agent! No phone calls please!
